Work Day?

Does anyone know when the next workday will be?

Hey all -
If you haven't been to the garden in a while, they just put the new cell tower in...right next to the old one. Guess they changed the plans!

Garden Work Days

Hi all,

We had a work day in the garden this past Saturday morning and we only had 4 gardeners there.
I heard from a lot of you that you couldn't make it that day, or that Saturdays aren't good for you in general.
I'd like to do a quick survey of which days and times are good for all of you. Generally if we work on the weekends we do 10am- 12, and if we work during the week we do 6-8pm, but I'm open to other suggestions.
Please let me know what works for you.

Plants are wilting!

Hi everyone,

We were up at the park today and I noticed that the majority of the plots that added new compost looked super dry, in fact, most of the new plants that had not been watered since our last work day are wilting! Just a heads up that the plots are drying out much quicker than last year. If we don't get some rain tomorrow, you should head up to water your plot.

The hose is still not connected, so bring a watering can if you have one.

As of yesterday (Monday) the outside water was on, but no hoses were in evidence...

Hi to Chase Park Communtiy Gardeners

We talked of getting a blog going to try and co-ordinate work days and give gardening tips. This can also serve as a forum to talk with fellow gardeners and let people know of any updates on the garden. You can post what days and times you plan on going up to the garden and see if anyone wants to meet up. I haven't done a blog before so I hope this works out.
